Confirmation record

Viesti Kirjoittaja Lynette1 » 17.08.2024 02:15

I found the attached confirmation record for Lisa Jacobsdotter Örn, my great-great grandmother.
I found a key online in the Swedish archives to decipher the grading system but I am not sure if it is the correct one for the Finnish archives.
There is no grading key in any of the confirmation books. I have looked on the first and last pages of many of the Communion records and have not found one there either. Is there an official grading key somewhere so that I can tell how my ancestors did on their religious examinations?

Also, can anyone figure out what the word written over “koppor” is?

Thank you,

This might give you some idea, the grading depended on who did it and during what time period. Maybe google translate will help:

The word is Stafning, meaning spelling

Thank you Jani. The keys in the link you sent me make a lot more sense that what I had.
