russian border. She lived in Russia (Saint Petersburg area) in 1715 +- 5 years.

Does anyone on this forum have relevant information. History books for Vyborg or
nobel ancestry family trees might give some data. A swedish family, or batchelor
moved to the Saint Petersburg area in the early 1700, this was the first building period of
the city. A navy soldier archive or seamen registry might contain the truth, please help if
you can.

These times are not easy to research, there are many church books of this area that are lost in fires or when the troops went to and fro...

Communion books of Virolahti before 1726 are lost. It is difficult to place Sigfrid or Enewald in Virolahti as there are no communion books

And there are plenty of other parishes in the nearhood of St. Petersburg... - if you think that Enewald was a Finn?
