Kuusamo Census 1900-1903

Is there a census for Kuusamo 1900-1903. Ancestory information: Johan Kotajärvi-Maaninka 2nd wife Anna and son Antti Kotajärvi. Johan died 19 Jul 1903. This was his second marriage and in his son's birth record of 1894 it shows his last name as Kotajärvi but in Johan's 1903 death entry it shows Johan's last name as Maaninka. I know that the Maaninka name was added after the marriage to his first wife Valpuri but when she died I think he may have dropped the Maaninka name and his wife and son from the 2nd marriage were Kotajärvi's. Johan lived with his first wife in Alakitka 22, Kuusamo and a census would tell me if Johan and his 2nd family lived someplace other than the Maaninka farm 22.

Kind of census is called henkikirjat. We do not have them all digitized, only every 5 years but you might want to compare this, 1900

Kuusamo is part of Oulun kihlakunta (sort of county).

Thank you, Tuula for getting back to me. It's most interesting. I have a some questions about name changes. My ancestor was born a Kotajärvi and he moved from his home town of Kemijarvi to Kuusamo where he married Valpuri Maaninka. From then on records show his name as Kotajärvi-Maaninka and all his children with Valpuri were named Maaninka and they lived on Maaninka farm #22. When Valpuri died Johan (my great-grand father) married Kaisa Leena Annantr Oikarainen and their son, Antti Hermann was named Kotajärvi, not Maaninka. When Johan died in 1903 at 83 his death entry shows his name as Maaninka.
Would his name remain Maaninka and children from 2nd marriage would be known by his birth family name which would be Kotajärvi?
And 2nd question, would he be allowed to stay on the Maaninka farm with his new family? I found a record for Kaisa having given birth to her son Antti in Alakitka #2, and his father was Juho Maaninka ele Kotajärvi.
Your thoughts on this name issue would be appreciated.
