Hello!
I need help.

I want to find befallningsman Reinhold Bullich in these records: http://digihakemisto.appspot.com/index. ... Asiakirjat
I found it in many books before 1733, as a taxpayer. For example, here: http://digihakemisto.appspot.com/edit?h ... d=12928126
, the lower right corner.

I found it in many books as an official (befallningsman),
for example, here: http://digihakemisto.appspot.com/e...&kuid=12907651
and here: http://digihakemisto.appspot.com/e...&kuid=12907652
and in many other places.

And I found his death here: http://digihakemisto.appspot.com/edit?k ... ay2=140417 , 13 April 1745.

And one very kind person from this forum helped me find Reinhold Bullich here: http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=1635779 , in 1712.
and here: http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=1249958 , in 1723-1732

But I can't find it, as a taxpayer in the period from 1734 to 1745.
I would like to find out where he lived in those years.
I looked through a lot of sheets, but I can't find...

Perhaps there is some way to search that I don't know? :?:
Or I have only one option-to view all pages?

Many thanks to all who can help me!
Olga

Asutuksen yleisluettelo is a secondary source. It has errors, so you should check the data from original sources.

Often this is the only way to find something. And often this *something* is that you find nothing.

Kimpula, thanks for the reply!

Yes, I know it. I checked on the original sources. I found Bullich in these years in the original. But I'm interested in where he lived from 1734 to 1745. That is, I want to know where he lived last years of his life, until his death.

I don't understand this: I found death Bullich in 1745 in Korsholm (Mustasaari). I looked in the book for 1745, and 1744, and 1741... and I don't find him living in Mustasaari. I don't understand why.

I found many other befallningsmens in different localities.
But not Bullich...

It seems you are looking tax records. If Bullich is not there, my guess is he either did not pay taxes (too poor?) or he did not live in Mustasaari, but somewhere else.

The death record lists Reinhold as being from the city of Vaasa. It was ecclesiastically a part of Korsholm, but in civil records such as taxation lists, the city was listed separately.

But when he lived in Maksmo, Tottesund, at this time he paid the tax. Here is a book from 1741, but the top of the page is specified 1731-1732 years when he paid the tax. http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=12324141

Here in this book it is said that he was paying the luxury tax, if I understand correctly: http://bibbild.abo.fi/ediss/2004/Swanst ... f#page=175
But probably it was much earlier when he not worked as befallningsman.

And, it seems, he left a large inheritance to their children in 1745.
If we assume that Reinhold Bullich was rich and then became poor, then I think he would not have left the inheritance.
I don't know what else could be the reason that he could not pay...

Thanks for the reply! Lists of Vaasa I watched too...
I found daughters Bullich: Beata and Juliana (the left side of the pages).

http://digi.narc.fi/digi/view.ka?kuid=10884697
My line goes from Juliana.
His daughters paid the tax, and he did not pay?
But it's 1741, but in 1744-1745 I have not found him or his daughters...

I think it says his family payed luxury tax when he was "handelsman" (merchant) in Vaasa 1698-1710:
"Familjen var av allt att döma välbärgad: fadern Reinhold Bullich var under sin tid som handelsman även verksam
som skeppsredare och familjen beskattades för olika lyxartiklar."

Vasabladet 26.8.1913 has an article "Kulturbilder från 1700-talet (at the bottom of page 2).
https://digi.kansalliskirjasto.fi/sanom ... m=Biillich

It tells, among other things, about Johan Bullich, son of Reinhold.

It says it has been written "Efter anteckingar i Riksarkivet i Stockholm"; i.e. source has been Riksarkivet in Stockholm. Not a good citation, but maybe Riksarkivet has something about Reinhold Bullich also.

But it goes only to 1734. )-:

Could the reason why he is not visible in taxation records so simple that he is too old! According his death record he is already 76 years old when he died. People over 60/63 year old did not paid personal taxices.
In his deadh record is mared the place where he did died. To me it looked like Turku or Kurku, but I do not know the area to find out is it really Turku or some local house or village name.

If the age at death is correct, I think we have a winner.

I read the place where he died as "Staden". City of Vaasa.
