I am looking for a verification of birth date for my grandmother- Alma Hanna Alina. She was an 'extramarital' birth. Her mother was Maria Ruonakoski (Perhaps)
This link shows Alma's entry is the last one on the left page in the month of Lokakuu . Can you make out the birth date? Is it 18 Oct?

This link is the previous page for the month of Syskuu, 5th entry down for 11 Sept for Alma Anna Alina but does not relate to Alma's mother Maria like the October entry does.
I'm thinking the correct date is 18 Oct 1880.

I'm not sure what you mean with the image 81, but Alma Hanna Alina was definitely born 18 OCT 1880, babtized 21 JAN 1881.

I'm thinking it's October as well but I came across the Sept entry and thought it a coincidence that the names are identical except for the middle name is Anna (Sept entry) and Hanna (Oct entry) but the family names are not at all the same. Probably a coincidence.

Oh, I was looking at September, that was in the August births, since the birth date is 25 AUG.

You would have to follow both Almas, the Yritys one and the Ruonakoski one to see which on is correct. And it looks like the one born in August dies the following year.

Thanks, Jani, for getting back to me. I think it would be fair to say that the one that died the following year would not be related to me. It sure is coincidental isn't it. I was just reviewing some information I got back about a Jacob O. Henric Heickinen. Turns out that's not one person - they were twins. Also Henric died the following month of measles. Something around every corner.
