Greta Johannas father might be Torvinen or Toronen, I read it Torvinen (here written Torvin).

Jani - can you help us. My cousin and I are working on this Amanda Sofia issue and we found earlier an Amanda Katharina born Oct 1881 then up pops this Amanda from 1880. So to verify just a little further can you locate the person Amanda's mother married in a communion book? Would there be a father/mother for Greta? I guess I'm asking who took custody of Amanda and raised her and also was it Amanda who married a Maunumäki and what would be his name. I could not find that name in the links you sent me. Any help would be wonderful. One part of our family has one set of names/dates and the other part has a different set and nothing looks logical.

Greta Johanna Jaakontytär (Greta Johannna Jakobsdotter) Torvi marries Juho Aleksanterinpoika (Johan Alexandersson) Maunumäki born 1 JUN 1858 on 29 OCT 1882. They had two daughters, Hilda Maria 3 NOV 1886 and Hanna Alina 28 DEC 1889. Amanda Sofia stays with them until 1896.

Amanda Sofia movevs to Himanka on 18 DEC 1897. On the Himanka book she has a note that she went to America in 1903 and died in America on 25 APR 1955.
