Birth Date for Brita Caisa Törmänen

I have uploaded a page from Sukuhistoria for the birth dates in Sodankyla in 1795. The first entry I believe to be that of Brita and I would like to verify if I am reading her dates correctly. Was she born on May 17th and christened on July 4th in 1795?

Yes, you have read correctly. The vertical texts are födelsedag (left) and döpelsedag (right). Worth noting is the irregular genetive, Törmäses. A regular genetive would be Törmäsen in Finnish or Törmänens in Swedish. The form used in the text is not correct in either language.

That is interesting that the spelling should be Törmäsen. I thought the son looked incorrect. I make a note as an alternate name since most of the records I have looked up have the spelling at son.
