Maaninka cause of death

I great grandparents of Kuusamo, Oulu died on the same day, 19 Jul 1903. Names are Valpuri Maaninka and Johan Kotajarvi-Maaninka. Would it be possible to find the cause of death for them. There were a lot of epidemic type of illnesses during the first decades of the 1900's and I am curious to know if they died of and illness or a tragedy.
In addition are the 20th century records still closed to the general public.

Most probably found the right Johan here in Kuusamo

Vappu (=Valpuri, Walborg) Kotajärvi died in Alakitka (of Kuusamo) 11 March 1890

Here the year of birth is 1832 and age is given as 57 years, 10 months and 11 days.
cause of death: "pistos" sharp pain in the chest, most probably pneumonia

Thank you for your help in finding the correct date of death and cause. The cause of death can speak volumes of the life of the ancestor and can be very hard to find. Thanks again for your much appreciated help.
